About Me
When I was 42 years old, I left the corporate world and started my own business. With 25 years’ experience in sales, business development and marketing, I started a business growth consultancy and focused on helping companies. However, I struggled to get in front of qualified prospects as I was unknown. I had lost all the company resources and I didn’t seem to have enough time. Soon I was feeling anxious and worried about money.
When I left my previous job at Drambuie I was given an out-placement consultant, Rob, who helped me with my job-seeking activities, and he recommended I join LinkedIn. This was in 2004 when there were only a few million on the platform.
So, I explored LinkedIn in detail and looked for potential prospects. I soon had a healthy pipeline and began to develop processes to drive more long-term leads. I learned how to generate a sustainable pipeline, whilst building my visibility and reputation and successfully delivering my expertise to my clients. It was the perfect world.
16 years ago, one of my clients, Michael, the MD of a very successful residential letting business, said, ‘’Miles. Your knowledge of LinkedIn and your approach is outstanding, it's changed our business incredibly. Why don’t you specialise? You could really help individuals and companies get on top of their pipeline, prospects and visibility’’.
For once I listened. This became my mission, my goal, my passion.
So I fused my years of sales, business development and marketing experience, together with my experience of LinkedIn, and created my unique LinkedIn training, which specialises in helping companies of all sizes to master LinkedIn.
The rest is history...
I have never looked back since. I have trained hundreds of companies and individuals worldwide - people just like you - on how to drive business growth using a simple structured approach on LinkedIn. There is nothing more pleasing than seeing your success in a very short period of time.
